Lata Mani’s book, The Tantra Chronicles, published by Routledge, examines the consequences of dominant ways of thinking that obscure the interrelations between various elements, even as interdependence and indivisibility continually assert themselves. She explores themes such as language, labor, technology, post-structuralist theory, political rhetoric, sexuality, advertising, urban planning, and neoliberal globalization, interweaving observation, poetry, and analysis. Collaborating closely with the author and the publishing house, the book’s design aims to balance a serious purpose with an appeal to an engaged, thoughtful readership, as well as harmonizing content and design.
